Weight Loss Support Services for Individuals & Groups

Body Knowledge Assessments

This is a great way to find out how your activity and lifestyle affect your weight loss and health. After wearing the SenseWear WMS (weight management system) armband for one week, your personal activity information is downloaded enabling our clinician to better assess, motivate and educate you about how your lifestyle impacts your health goals. The SenseWear armband delivers accurate, objective, minute-to-minute health metrics such as total energy expenditure, physical activity levels and sleep duration and efficiency. Your body knowledge assessment will give you an exact metabolic assessment so you can fine tune your daily behaviors, getting you closer to your goal.

Bariatric Support Coaching

Coaching is different than counseling in that through guided questions from the coach, you find your own answers within yourself. The coach/client relationship is one of trust; creatively looking into your life, your strengths, your desires and dreams and helping you find answers to the obstacles that are keeping you from the life you want. Then with practical application, week by week, you begin to realize your potential and become all you were created to be!

Christian Counseling

Sandy’s twelve years counseling experience was under an ecclesiastical license. With degrees in Christian Psychology and Biblical Studies, Sandy enjoys directing people to the truth as found in the bible. If you are looking for a Christian perspective in dealing with your weight or food issues, contact Sandy.

Pre & Post Bariatric Counseling

Bariatric surgery is a tool to use in a whole new way of life. Everything changes from the way you think, view and prepare food to the way you cope with stress and interpersonal relationships. Familiarize yourself with what changes are important to make for long term success.

Child Obesity Prevention and Education - (C.O.P.E.) For Change

C.O.P.E. For Change is a nonprofit organization developed to fight childhood obesity by addressing behavioral health - the missing link in current obesity education. Healthy coping skills are necessary for life. When children don't learn healthy coping skills they will cope however they can with life's challenges. Many times that means compulsive eating, eating disorders, drug or alcohol use, and more. By proactively teaching all children a life of balance utilizing wise choices, exercise, nutritional food and healthy emotional outlets we offer alternatives to emotional eating and food attachments that lead to a life of out of control obesity.

C.O.P.E. For Change is a program designed for use in schools, community outreach programs, and after school clubs or groups. If you would like more information about how C.O.P.E. For Change can help the children in your life or community contact Sandy.
